Sluggers come back again in 12-11 win over CRP

--BOSTON, June 9, 2004

The Sluggers showed their resolve once again, this time by overcoming a substantial early deficit, sluggish play, and a scoring discrepancy to perform some more late-inning magic. They remain perfect at 3-0.

Offensive Play of the Game
Tonight's Offensive Play of the Game occurred in the bottom of the sixth inning when Will "The Natural" Jamieson hit a three-run game-winning blast in which the product of Denison University slid into home jarring the ball lose. Even more impressive is that he slid when there were almost no girls around to impress.

Other Offensive Highlights
In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Sluggers had the first back-to-back-to-back bombs in quite some time by Kevin "Mordecai" McKeon, Ben "Kenobi" Hardigg, and Noah "n$" Cushing.

Defensive Play of the Game
This week's Defensive Play of the Game was performed in the top of the sixth inning by Sluggers short fielder Adam "Plant The" Seidman, who made a diving/tumbling/sliding grab to keep the Crappers in check.

Player of the Week
Will "The Natural" Jamieson was voted Player of the Week.
